The last two weeks at Koaches in one place: a redesigned Calm Fintech White landing page with an interactive demo and a night mode, a voice coach that shows when it's listening, thinking, and speaking, one-click thank-you notes after an interview debrief, and simpler four-tier pricing you choose by how long you commit.
Welcome to the first edition of What We Shipped, a short weekly note on the changes that actually landed in Koaches. The last couple of weeks were about making the app calmer to look at and sharper to practice with - a fresh front door, a voice coach that tells you whose turn it is, and a couple of things that just save you time.
The logged-out home page has been fully redesigned in a “Calm Fintech White” style. The hero now has an interactive demo window you can click through - Resume Reviewer, Cover Letter, Job Analyzer, and Mock Interview - each with example datasets you can swap. There is a night mode that remembers your choice across visits, and signing in or creating an account now happens on clean, standalone pages instead of a pop-up. See the new home page.
On the Story Builder, the voice coach shows three clear states - listening, thinking, and speaking - so you are never left staring at a still screen wondering whether it heard you. A live mic meter moves while you talk, so it feels like the app is actually listening. Building a story around a specific competency now opens on that exact theme instead of drifting off-topic, and tapping End call asks you to confirm first so a stray tap can’t drop the conversation mid-story. Build a story.
Once you have run a debrief on a real interview, you can now generate a short thank-you note in one click. It is grounded in the actual details of that conversation - the interviewer’s name and what you discussed - rather than a generic template, and you can copy it or regenerate it on the spot. Open your debrief.
Pricing is now four plans instead of a confusing mix. There is a free Job Explorer tier plus three paid tiers that all unlock the same full access and differ only by how long you commit - weekly, monthly, or quarterly - with the longer commitments costing less per week. Each paid card shows its effective per-week rate, so nothing is hidden. See the plans.
That is the last couple of weeks. The quickest way to feel the difference is to run a short practice round. We will do this again next week with whatever ships next.
Run a free mock interview with an AI coach that asks follow-ups, scores your answers, and shows you exactly what to fix.
